Sanathnagar Congress MLA, Marri Shashidhar Reddy has asked students not to end their lives for the cause of Telangana.
He also requested the Centre to soon
take a decision on the Telangana issue.
It may be recalled that Santosh,
a BSc student at Osmania University committed suicide on Wednesday over
delay in declaring separate statehood for Telangana. The incident
sparked wide protests from students as well as Telangana supporters,
creating a tense atmosphere in the campus.
