Union Minister Vayalar Ravi on Tuesday ruled out changing of the guard in Andhra Pradesh.
On being asked about rumors that the
Chief Minister will be changed, the senior congress leader said: "Kiran
Kumar Reddy will not be replaced and he would continue till the next
elections."
Vayalar Ravi in New Delhi, said that
some of the Congress leaders from Telangana have discussed the T-issue
with him and the state affairs in-charge, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi has also held talks with the Telangana MPs and MLAs over the issue, he added.
It may be mentioned here that media
reports claimed that the CM will be replaced by National Disaster
Management Authority vice chairman, Marri Sasidhar Reddy. Adding fuel to
speculation, Marri Sasidhar Reddy met Congress president Sonia Gandhi
on Monday morning.
But Vayalar Ravi's announcement should come as comforting news for the CM.
