YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister Sharmila
entered Konakandla village in Ananthapur district on Tuesday as part of
her ‘Maro Praja Prasthanam’ padayatra.
The YSRCP leader arrived to a rousing reception from the people.
Sharmila addressed a public meeting
amidst thunderous applause, which was largely attended by women
supporters. She alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy's government has watered
down all the welfare schemes initiated by late YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
She said that if YSR were here, he would
have made sure people enjoyed power supply at least for 9 hours.
However, the present government has not been able to provide even 2
hours of supply, she said.
She also interacted with many supporters and the public, who joined her walkathon.
