Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy had a
narrow escape when her vehicle's tire burst, near Prathipadu mandal in
East Godavari district today.
The Home Minister's convoy was involved
in a minor mishap in which some security personnel sustained minor
injuries, but the minister escaped unhurt.
Sabitha's convoy was on way to East
Godavari district when the accident happened. She is touring East
Godavari district to visit the flood-affected areas.
The vehicle skid off when the tire
burst, the driver however, controlled the vehicle safely. Later she was
shifted to another vehicle, sources said.
